The second-largest island in the Mediterranean  with nearly 2,000km of coastline, sandy beaches and a mountainous interior crossed with hiking trails. Its rugged landscape is dotted with thousands of Nuraghi – mysterious Bronze Age stone ruins shaped like beehives.
